Horasis India meeting

The 16th Horasis India meeting took place in Athens, the capital of Greece over 15 – 16th September, co-hosted by the Hellenic-Indian Chamber of Commerce and Economy.
The Horasis India Meeting has become the foremost annual meeting of Indian business leaders and their global counterparts to discuss a wide range of issues related to the Indian economy.
This international meeting took place on 15 and 16 September 2024, in Athens, at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Athens Hotel, under the auspices of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Digital Governance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
It was attended by state officials, diplomats and distinguished representatives of the international political, business and investment community.
Among others, the international business meeting was attended by Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, Minister of Digital Governance , Mr. Costas Fragogiannis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs , Ms. Alexandra Sdoukou, Deputy Minister of Environment & Energy , Ms. Dora Bakoyannis, former Minister of Foreign Affairs , Mr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Minister of Information Technology and Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu , Mr. Dimitris Avramopoulos, former European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Ms. Dionysia Avgerinopoulou, Member of Parliament for N. Ilia, Mr. George Papagiannopoulos, General Manager of Strategic Investments of the Ministry of Development , Mr. Fokion Karavias, CEO of Eurobank Holdings and Mr. Vineet Agarwal, CEO of Transport Corporation of India .
This year’s meeting was an ideal platform for more than 300 senior business leaders from India, Greece and the rest of the world , through which they had the opportunity to explore and promote economic cooperation and investments, aiming at jointly sustainable business development. In addition, during the very important discussions that took place, all the new data regarding modern ESG strategies, infrastructure, and the Media in Greece and India were presented.
The 16th Horasis India Meeting was a unique opportunity to exchange views, knowledge, techniques and strategies for strengthening business relations between Greece and India, with the aim of further strengthening the economic development of the two countries .
